Unmuted Ink Poetry Slam has been Rescheduled

I have great news!  Unmuted Ink Poetry Slam has been rescheduled.  It will be  Saturday, January 14, 2012, 8 P. M. — 11 P. M. Eastern Time.   I am very excited! It will be on Talkshoe, Blazzin the Mic with Candace Mumford.  Here is the link and it will take you right to her show.

Unmuted Ink Poetry Slam

On Friday night  (January 6, 2012), at 8 P.M., I will be a contestant on Unmuted Ink Poetry Slam on Beautiful Butterfly with Bianca Fly Poetry Show.

This is my first time participating on a poetry slam.  There will be around nine contestants competing.

View the World Through my Heart

 

I don’t mean to make you cry.

I just want to pull your heartstrings,

touch your soul,

touch your heart,

and make you think.

I want you to view

the world in a different light.

I want to make you smile

and laugh.

If I can do that,

then my poetry

is not written in vain.
